Hi r/hotdogs, I need you help finding a video
I recently came across a video of a street dog being made. I'm looking for it because I want to recreate it. Here's what I remember: He's cooking on a flat top griddle outside, he puts down cheese and then some kind of opened up pepper (poblano maybe) flat on the griddle. Lets the cheese crisp up and then rolls a hotdog around it, before topping with a myriad of different things, onions, sauces, the works. I think I understand the concept, well enough to recreate it, but I'd really like to have a video as reference for a few details that may be helpful. For example, was the pepper cooked already, or did he let it cook in the cheese? The dog ended up pretty big after the wrap, what kind of bread was it? Anyway, if anyone recognizes the video I'm describing, please let me know, thanks! submitted by /u/ErnThemCaps [link] [comments]
