After eating these dogs, I should be shelf stable for quite a while. I LOVE chili dogs, and I make a great hot dog chile. I always make enough so I have some to freeze for later, if I haven’t got the time or there’s none in the freezer, I break open my emergency can of Weinerschnitzel Chili. Der Weinerschnitzel was my first tax paying job back in 1981 and I’ll pimp this chili till the end of time. If you’re ever craving a Wieneritto, no other chili will do the job. I don’t know where the Velveeta came from but it’s been looking out at me from the pantry for a while so I warmed it up in some boiling and squeezed some on to my dogs.
